It's bound to be a few months yet as it wasn't that long ago that the last one was released...

OK, here's PA_GTB_Gran2b. This should be functionally identical to the 2.0.1 version (and slightly more efficient, in fact).
Thanks in advance for any testing, bug reports, etc.
An OSX version is in the archive this time, along with 32- and 64-bit Win builds and the source. As ever, the source is also here:

Nice to see a Stockfish with Gaviotabases! :)
I tried to set up a match vs SF211 in Fritz, but couldn't as SF GTB "is not defined" what's that about?? (I can use it in CB9 as analysis engine though)
@picasso wrote:have you tryed to set the TB in SF parameters?
The only TB option I see is "use Gaviota TB" and that one is on by default...

is the engine creating in your fritz :?:
if not create but do not touch parameters before it is created
or get fritz 12

I created an UCI in CB9 and there I can use it. But when I put it in tournament in Fritz 11 and press run tournament it stops when loading engines, with a message about this engine not being defined. That has actually never happened before with any other engine...
I'm using an AMD 2core laptop win 7 64bit.
Picasso, yes I have the gaviota activated with path - I even moved it to C:/gtb just to see if it made any difference, but no.
@mars wrote:haven't a clue about CB only Fritz's and these engine create in fritz 11 and 12 , you get that ...not defined message , if you adjust the parameters of most all engines before creation process finished on both Fritz's
maybe deletion in CB then creation in Fritz may work ?
then create in CB ?
Tried it in the Rybka 3 interface, same problem. Haven't done anything different with it than with other engines when made into uci - so a wild stab at what the problem might be is: Could it be that maybe the engine name is too long?!
At least it's clearly the longest engine name in my engine folder... :/

I can create the uci in fritz 11 and also run it as a kibitzer engine. But using it in an engine tournament is still not possible. I've even tried shortening the name of the exe and uci but it still retains the old long name in the engine list.
Usually I wouldn't care as there are so many other engines, but a Stockfish WITH gaviota would definitely be my favourite Sfish, it it only worked! And in analysis it works perfectly finding mate in 115 with 2N vs p in seconds.
Any other ideas what "engine is not defined" may mean, if it's not that the engine name is too long for the engine tournament protocol or something? Anyone else here using Fritz11 or Rybka 3 who got it working?
