Yeah Critter's not all that far behind. But Houdini 2 is due to come out soon, so it'll be another massive set-back for the competition if the rival programmers.

The answer is quiet simple. Take a look at where the strongest machines plays every day (aka: Playchess Computer Room) 99% of people there use only one engine. So many people can't be wrong.
