The games you use to compile the book are just the start. The secret to a strong book is to play with it then manually hand tune the book lines after each game. It will take you many many hours of hard work but is the only way to get a really strong book and to keep it strong.

The reference to optimise 0/100 is that in Fritz you do F4 for book settings. Then click "optimise" on the left and leave all settings except set minimum games = 0 and up to move = 100
