Hi Ahmed,
I do it so many years (moderation from chess foras).
With 43 years I am an old men in computer chess.
My computer chess time is over after 10 years I do so many things in www but I have fun with my rating list.
My first eng-eng game I plays with the Fidelity chess computer "Chess Challenger 7". In this time I am 12 years old. A little trick ... with the combination PB and DM, after this one changed Level or before ... today I don't know ... you can play Level 1 vs. Level 7 = eng-eng match ... psst :-) I do such things for 31 years! Only Level 5 can solved easy mates in 3 moves ... but you have to wait x hours of such a "mate in 3 move". I believe in all the years not documented what I wrote here about the good and old Chess Challenger 7 ... my first chess computer :-)
And I produced in this times, not today :-) an own Chess Challenger 7 rating list with my neighbor (at this time 9 years old). Bad weather = no football = computer chess in free time.
Level 7 (40 moves in 120 minutes) are only around 5 INGO (INGO are a German rating system) stronger as Level 2 (I believe 10 seconds or 5-7 seconds for a move). Level 2 are stronger as Level 3 (20 or 30 seconds per move). The good old times ...
Now you have the biggest news of the day :-)
Honest, not very important to create a German selection. I think we have enough in German language!
Spanish and Arabic is more interesting.
Believe me ...
In my Arena time I mailed with some computer chess friends from Arabien countrys. Never this people have an own computer chess forum. Why not, try it out (Arabic selection). Spanish is interesting too, most people with speak Portoguese can understand it too. Computerchess in South America is very populare. I remember me that in my Arena times a daily Argentina newspaper reported on the front page about the free chess project Arena and we got on this week around 30.000 page views from Argentina. I had a lot contacts to webmasters from South America chess news pages. Nice people here, produced the best articals in the first www times.
My chessfriend can read Arabic, so I have the information too :-)
Best
Frank
