After one week working non stop, here you have the results of this test. 100 games at 60 minutes per game. Houdini 1.5 against DR4 SSE4.2 and the IvanHoe compile (Peterpan) that leads the ranking of my tests:

Computer: i7 975 4 real cores + 4 Hyper Thread. (But HT: Off)
Fritz Benchmark: Speed 26,73 KNS 12.828
GUI: Fritz 12
Book: Masterbook 3.1
Time control: 60 minutes per game.
Ponder: off
No Robbo, Triple or Nalimov Bases

201012Houdini_15_60min 2010

Houdini 1.5 x64(x4) - Deep Rybka 4 SSE42 x64(x4) 31.0 - 19.0 +17/=28/-5 62.00%
Houdini 1.5 x64(x4) - Ivanhoe B50kBx64p(x4)BO 30.5 - 19.5 +15/=31/-4 61.00%

The superiority of Houdini 1.5 is huge at this Time Control. A big :sm67: to Robert Houdart for his brilliant X'mas gift!.

Here you have the games:http://www.megaupload.com/?d=EFTIWP3S

Regards from Barcelona.

Hi, Drmrboss.

Frank Quisinsky has just suggested me to do the same. I will try to find the settings for this strong experimental version.

Looks like 71 get higher?!

Ipman.

Better Rating list for an extreme time control http://cefy.weebly.com/index.html

Thanks, Ipman!

I will pre-test this version and then 60 minutes Time Control.

Regards!

Tom.

Thank you Tomcass :D

This match was scheduled to 50 games, but I stopped it after 14 games because of the big difference between both engines.

Computer: i7 975 4 real cores + 4 Hyper Thread. (But HT: Off)

201012Houdini_15_Exp_60 min-game 2010

1 Houdini 1.5 x64(x4) +7/=7/-0 75.00% 10.5/14
2 Deep Rybka 4 SSE42 x64EXP61 +0/=7/-7 25.00% 3.5/14

At 60' Time Control Houdini 1.5 is much better than DR4 standard and DR4 EXP 61.
DR4 EXP 61 seems to be weaker than DR4 Standard at this Time Control

Regards,

Tom.

Interesting result

7 wins 7 draws :affraid:

What about Houdini depth analysis in longer time controls. Is there any substantial difference with shorter ones (is it around 17-19)?

Thanks and Happy New Year!

many poeple say that Houdini 1.5 stronger then deep rybka 4, but nowday by my experience I can not to say this.

Any chance you got these games in PGN format?

Why do you think so?

There are so many ratings that confirm Houdini's superiority...

Or you mean cluster games, etc.

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 870 @ 2.93GHz 8.0 GB Memory
Windows 7 Home Premium Edition (Build 7600) 64 bit
Fritz Benchmark:
Speed: 13.09
KNS: 6280
GUI: Rybka 3
Book: Masterbook 4-10 moves
Hash:256
TB and GTB: ON
Ponder: OFF
Blitz: 10.0

Code:
1  Houdini 1.5 x64  3190  +25/-14/=31 57.86%  40.5/70
2  Deep Rybka 4 x64  3190  +14/-25/=31 42.14%  29.5/70
