1st you must prepare the interface to be used as a way to save your OTB (over the board) chess duels.
1. On levels click infinite.
2. Get rid of the clock,
3. Select an engine,
4. Hit the edit button.
5a. Make some move, hit the edit button again. This starts the engine analyzing your moves.
5b. Right click one of the lines down in the analysis and select Multi-PV mode. Pick how many potential moves that you want 2-8 can be useful, I use 5.
6. Right click one of your moves in the notation and go down to display. Uncheck values/times.
7. Get some better engines and install. Stockfish is consistently one of the best available and freeee.
To put one of your games into Arena 3.0 for analysis or saving-- Open the GUI, Start new game, hit the edit button. You can even leave an engine operable. After a move or ten you can activate the engine by hitting the edit button again.
Anything that I forgot or if any step needs further explanation-- leave a post. I did this off the cuff because I want to point to a reference for my students.
