It is a development version.
Someone asked me to change the visual themes, and as there wasn't time for change and consult the beta testers, I prepared with a portable version that I'm working, with this minimal change.

This version can cause problems, because inside is a big change, I changed the graphics library interface to QT : from PyQT to PySide, and only for this, although theoretically are equal, there may be errors that in the stable they are not. There is no other difference than this, only in Other options (playing a game), is the option to Tablero -> Imagen = Board -> Image, which is neither translated into English.

Next stable release is 4.03. ( if possible in this week)

Cheers
Lucas

In the list of changes to be considered in the future following version (4.10?) one of them is to add in the option play against any rival, the possibility of choosing a book of openings different from the standard.
The problem is that the files ctg have an internal format that I do not know, not if it is a public format, perhaps it is possible to export to txt, and then import....

Hello :

I have uploaded a new version of Lucas Chess, links are :

With minimal changes:
Engines:
  • Updated Komodo 1.2 -> 1.3
  • Updated Stockfish 1.9.1 -> 2.0.1

New:
  • Boxrooms PGN, under Other Options-Save, which can record in user-defined pgn files.

Bugs:
  • Change of v35 to v40, sends the user data files to the data folder instead of UsrData.
  • Tables are checked by controlling all the moves, to calculate whether there are Three Repeats.
  • Beginners, first-time engine is not working.
  • Lucas-Elo, does not operate the engine 46: Tarrasch.
  • Installing external engines, new, read uci parameters, now maximum 12 seconds, before 2 and sometimes gave problems because they do not have time to read.

And the development version : http://www.mediafire.com/file/zhsopo8e3p9pmjd/LucasChessPortable410Alfa2.exe
(Tutorials option does not work.)

Cheers
Lucas

I do not know how these matches are organized.
Lucas Chess has the possibility to connect PC to PC via IP to play among humans, but between engines do not know which the game system is.

I need more information about this.

Cheers
Lucas
