Hello, I want to build my own computer for chess analysis, I have no money limit, so the computer will be +2000 dollars, but I need some recommendations. I don't know what is better for chess engines, for example Intel core i7 with 6 cores 3.7 GHz or Intel core i7 with 4 cores but +4.0 GHz, I think the GHz is very important for the chess engines, more than the number of cores. + 16 gb ram etc. Please I need some advices on how to build an excellent computer only for chess. I will analyze positions all the day.
Thanks
Thanks

hey bro Thanks! but why not a processor of the 5th generation? and that's with 4 cores?
I would recommend a much more powerful configuration, but the configuration I suggested is what "I believe" to be the "best-bang-for-your-buck" considering the $2,000 glass ceiling.@Arkeus wrote:@Nathanael Russell wrote:Video & Graphics Card Nvidia GeForce GTX 860M GPU with 4GB GDDR5 Video Memory
