This engine on their download website: https://github.com/amchess/ShashChess
It states this:
"Threads
Integer, Default: 1, Min: 1, Max: 512 The number of threads to use during the search. This number should be set to the number of cores (physical+logical) in your CPU."
So since it states Number of Cores (physical+logical) would that mean that this engine performs better with hyper threading on?
Thanks.

From what I've read, it is better not to use hyper-threading when testing engine v engine.
