Strangely there is a prohibited character in the naming of the chess engine Ice v.4.853 which prevents its configuration with ChessGUI from Matthias Gemuh ! ??.

I've never had any issues with iCE under ChessGUI.
Just edit the name if necessary. I have iCE 4.0 64-bit.

Hello Graham!

I'm talking about the internal name of the engine which is not the same as the executable.

Name: Deep iCE 4.0.853 x64/popcnt (internal)

/ is not acceptable for an executable.

I always use the internal name of the motors which is correct for me!

Same for the popcnt of iCE 4, incorrect!
