2-3 months ago, a friend of mine sent me Kayra 1.1 PB version and Kayra codes via private message. In this edition, MZ was also cited among the contributors. When I asked Marco if he had adapted the polyglot book, he replied that he had not. I started to  develop Kayra chess engine  with polyglot book support and a few new features, but I realized that this project required a lot more time and stopped the project for now because I didn't have enough time. I wasn't thinking of publishing Kayra 1.2, with a Polyglot book support. I plan to add Polyglot Book support and some new features in the next releases. But when Kayra Polyglot codes were released some forums , I had to publish Kayra 1.2a in a way I never planned.
If you or someone you know is the author of these polyglot book support codes, I would be happy to share your or someone else's name among the contributors.

The source I used for the polyglot code came from a friend's modification/compilation of Stockfish NNUE + MTCS which he had given me. I had removed the relevant polyglot source for my own derivative, Phaedra, last year.

In his Stockfish NNUE + MTCS source, M.Z. is credited along with the Stockfish authors. I assumed that if he had been part of the Stockfish codebase changes in said source, he would have been listed in the AUTHORS file.  No other contributors were mentioned in the misc.cpp file.  

Apologies for any confusion here. I assumed M.Z. was the source for polyglot and wanted to acknowledge this in the executable.

Hi bookmaker,

Curiously, i'm running a tournament actually and Kayra 1.2a + Kayra 1.1.bin has the upper.

Why are you saying that Kayra it's Stockfish renamed Kayra ?

The author said and everybody know that the principal source code of Kayra come from Stockfish, but he done several change to make it better.

I wrote this on Talkchess forum last week
"Kayra and Stockfish evalution codes are at the crossroads. No evaluation patches added to Stockfish in the last 4-5 months have been added to Kayra codes. There are also changes in the search codes, but I won' t say that these are radical changes. During the development process of Kayra, I made radical changes in search codes but Kayra lost more elo than I thought.
Kayra is a Stockfish based engine and uses the same net as the latest version of Stockfish so it is very difficult to get a low rate in a similarity test without using a new structure net. Developing a new and different net requires time and a very powerful hardware. For now, I don't have either of these. :) "

Kayra is hatdly a renamed Stockfish. Examine his source along witb the Stockfish development builds. Compare cpp and header files with WinMerge.

The author has a thread on Talkchess with multiple tests of various Stockfish builds.I think he knows a bit about the Stockfish source!

I still occasionally use his Kayra 2 and 3 values ( CPuct/Policy Temperature) with Lc0 ,occasionally.

His contributions to computer chess are fat more than that of a hex editor. He has my respect for his accomplishments.
