Godel is a Spanish chess engine developed by Juan Manuel Vazquez in C++, mainly under Linux environment. It is not a new project, since its author has been working on it discontinuously for a very long time.

Godel 2.3.7

- Added the UCI protocol. Not tested too much so is recomended the Winboard protocol.
- Fixed time management bugs, in special the easy move technic and losing the game by time in incremental time control.
- Many changes in the search. Now Godel prunes a bit more and uses the TT in the qsearch.
- It has been optimized many parameters of the evaluation.
- Godel is a bit faster.

Released the new version 3.4.9 of Gödel for Linux and Windows:

* UCI support. ( Winboard recomended for testing).
* ARM Binaries for Android.
* Better king safety. Though a lot of work must be done here.
* Now Gödel searches deeper. More gressive pruning.
* New opening book. Don't forget to remove or replace the old book.dat file because is imcompatible with the new Version.
* Time management changed. Now Gödel spends less time in the opening.

I Used Godel in my tourney but still have problems like that:
{Error: first chess program (Godel349_x64.exe ) exited unexpectedly} 1/2-1/2
or
{Error: second chess program (Godel349_x64.exe ) exited unexpectedly} *

Runs fine under Arena 3.5 ! ... and is strong. thumb up

The engine plays not bad at all but does not respect fixed move time command under Android. I checked and it's not average move time either. Uses always more time than specified. Ex: 3 seconds vs 1 sec.. I don't know how Windows versions behave.

Thanks, good progress - but implementation syzygy bases is better on other engines :-)
