Early testing is saying this engine has had a MAJOR increase in strength. If my testing is right this is one of the most notable increases in strength I have seen in some time. It appears early on to be stronger than Fritz 14, Andscacs 81n, Arester Eagle, and just short of Protector 8! GOOD JOB!!!!!!!!! thumb up

this engine in my fritz gui, only works with 1 CPU ... however much I try to change to more than one, he always plays with 1 cpu .. I wonder if it's just me that this happens, someone else? .. best

It happens here too when I change CPUs in engine window! (not in the Shredder GUI)
I just installed the engine again with 2CPUs and it runs ok in the Fritz 13 GUI - which GUI do you use?

And - if there is another Alfil 15.7 engine running on the same pc - the CPU using is not twice - it is the same (both engines run on half power as if they would share the same cpu kernel)

dear Graham ... unfortunately the Alfil yet still with some past mistakes, does not load all cpus, it uses very little Hash, and still 32bit, but he seems to me to have a great potential when it reaches 64bit, I have great hope for the future. .. sincerely hope that the author can make a breakthrough in this direction in the next releases ... big hug ...
