this new stockfish which was released on

is a lot stronger than stockfish 2.31

The little I`ve seen from it, it seems like Stockfish got "his own ideas" again. A little flashback to the release of the 1.7 version. So this is promising! And nothing would please me more than if SF became a real challenger to H3.

CEGT 40/20 - ponder off:


1 Houdini 3 x64 1CPU +21/-8/=21 63.00% 31.5/50
2 Stockfish 04-03-13 x64 1CPU +8/-21/=21 37.00% 18.5/50

from our list:
56 Stockfish 2.3.1 x64 1CPU - 2947 100 + 36 = 45 - 19 58.5 %

it Looks like the engine under our conditions is not much stronger.
