Ippolit2 derived of Ippolit 0.80b and it's free but not Open Source.
Ipploit2 has been implemented as a programming exercise and, despite his age, is quite competitive.
Ippolit2 implements the SMP, however it's NOT IvanHoe.
Ippolit2 at this time, does not support the Table-Bases. The author is working to implement support to the "Gaviota-Table-Bases"

You can use Ippolit2 as you see fit, excluding commercial use.

The authors of the original Ippolit call themselves Comrades and keep pseudonymous. Head Comrade is Yakov Petrovich Golyadkin, Deputy Head Comrade Igor Igorovich Igoronov, Honorary Comrade Vladimir Ilyich Lenin, and further Roberto Pescatore, Yusuf Ralf Weisskopf, Ivan Skavinsky Skavar, and Decembrists.

this is wrong. Ippolit2 is mp ( load the engine under Arena and you will see if you check the engine option: Thread 1 by default and Multithreading), but what I understood the engine reached if you use the Little blitzer gui only a depth 1-2. But so what, with Arena 3.0 and setup the Thread to 4 and the multithread option true the programm works well. But I can't say how strong it is.

Ippolit2 only works with 1CPU on Fritz 13 GUI. Exception error if theres more than 1 thread. I might test on Arena and Winboard.

yes, the download link doesn't include 32 bit engine version

can we have the 32 bit engine?

and if there is no 32 bit engine
so I can't test it

Ippolit (and its derivatives, maybe not with Houdini yet) development is dead. Nearly four years have passed since we saw a real development.
