Nice work. Personally I"m after longer time controls (10 minutes, or 40/40). Stockfish is a problem. With so many beta versions being a public build, it makes it near impossible to test the newest version to any accuracy for the time control you happen to want. It takes a long time to do 1000+ 40/40 games.

Likewise I have no idea what version CCRL is using for "Stockfish 4". It is only a few points behind Houdini 3 though, within margin of error. If the Stockfish team has upped the strength of Stockfish since CCRL's version was made, then I can feel confident in using Stockfish knowing it's top dog.

Robert Houdart, your move.

Stockfish 190913 seems super strong

I'm running the new toureny and

Stockfish 190913 is currently stronger than
Stockfish Sep 7th

can we do more tourneys for
Stockfish 190913 ???

the more matches we have
the more accurate the elo becomes!! thumb up thumb up

update:

about 20 matches are done up until this point and

Stockfish 190913 is still stronger than
Stockfish Sep 7th

chess enthusiasts must watch
the 18th match (from the beginning) by
Stockfish 190913
(the full pgn match file will be posted when hundreds of matches are done!)

Stockfish 190913 is pushing pawns like amazing something
and you will witness some kind of amazing pawn pushing
it is like one of the best matches I have ever seen!

chess enthusiasts must watch
the 18th match (from the beginning) by
Stockfish 190913
(the full pgn match file will be posted when hundreds of matches are done!)

Stockfish 190913 is pushing pawns like amazing something
and you will witness some kind of amazing pawn pushing
it is like one of the best matches I have ever seen!

update:

54th match is also one of the best matches I have seen

Stockfish 190913 does bishop sacrifice to win
and that was a very dangerous gambit
