I'll start a tourney of many matches which include engines of elo of 1500 or so

cuz I guess that elo is the level which is possessed by many ppl

to practice chess and learn and study chess
ppl need an engine that is equal in strength (elo)

that is very important for learning and studying and practicing chess

if we have an engine with elo of 2600 then try to down scaling the strength to 1500
it is very hard to make the engine 1500
so we can simply find an engine that is 1500 when it is playing with full strength

***

update:

I have found dozens of engines which fall in that elo of 1500 category
many engine websites are discontinued
so we can get many of them
but we can still find the following:

"Roque11.exe"
"miniroque12.exe"
"roque21.exe"
"NumptyOmega.exe""
cefap072.exe "
damas7c.exe

after testing for the undo function
since undo is critically important for learning chess I guess

"Roque11.exe" - doesn't support undo function
"miniroque12.exe"
"roque21.exe"
"NumptyOmega.exe"" - doesn't support undo function
cefap072.exe "
damas7c.exe

***

"miniroque12.exe"
"roque21.exe"
cefap072.exe "
damas7c.exe

I'll have many matches among these
so we can practice and learn chess better

if the above engines are A B C and D
if engine B is a little stronger than what you need
you can use engine C
and engine D is a little weaker for your needs and wants

so when the engines have the rating list

we can rightly choose the specific engine we need for studying and practicing! thumb up thumb up

{XBoard adjudication: repetition draw} 1/2-1/2

you will never believe what happened
if you take a look at the match
one side was winning by a huge margin but it couldn't win
it just moved around the pieces and then got a draw
instead of a win after 50 move rule (25 was used)

the winboard protocol engines can't have adjudication
the engine's config is superior to the general global config I think
so even if I set the global adjudication to "600 win/loss adjudication centipawn"
it doesn't work

so there is no way for WB engines to be adjudicated automatically
after one side is losing by certain scores (like 600 centipawns)

***

if I use other GUIs and use the WB2UCI adapter
to make WB engine UCI engine or UCI compatible

it usually doesn't work properly

they make lots of errors so the matches are malfunctioning
or the engine's elo becomes so weak
cuz the adapter generates some random number that's what I read from a random article

so it's not easy to have engine matches for them
so that's it
the tourney aborted! thumb up thumb up

I continued on the tourney

and if the above pgn like match happens

I manually adjudicated
cuz the automatic adjudication doesn't work

I was watching over the whole tourney
and when above pgn like match happened
I adjudicated manually

when the tourney is finished the pgn and result will be posted! thumb up
