Tournament details

Schedule: the match will be played over a maximum of twelve games, and the winner of the match will be the first player to score 6.5 points or more. If the winner scores 6.5 points in less than 12 games then the closing ceremony will take place on the day after the World Championship has been decided or one day thereafter.

Even with minor inaccuracies from Anand during game 6, it was drawed until white move 60. Ra4. This move ruined the game completely for white! The correct move was 60. b4, creating a real menace by the pawns at the queen side and ensuring draw! How could a GM like Anand, with plenty of time to calculate this relatively simple rooks endgame, play such a bad and loser move? cool
