I'll let the author know for you.

Richard - have you tried double clicking on the exe first?

A member in Talkchess reckons that BlackMamba works okay for him on 32-bit Windows XP SP3.

Windows XP SP2 64bit is what I have too. Too bad Microsoft is going to stop supporting this OS in 2014.

I have windows 7, but its not as fast.

Hi Matteo,

a user in the Chess2U forum is disappointed because it doesn't work on Windows XP SP3.
Any chance you could do an extra compile that would make such users happy?

Cheers,
Graham.

I will work on Graham.

BlackMamba is a relatively weak engine now compared to the Ippolit family.

There is a new exe called BlackMamba_MP_x64_nolp.exe inside the zip file.
I hope this could solve the problem with Windows XP (i do not have any XP PC).

Re-download the file here

Hello!
I would like to test BlackMamba engine, but the download link is not working.
Would you make downloading link to some other place, please?
I am Linux user, but I wish download all versions for testing.

I am testing engines, are they as good in slow chess as they are in rapid.

It is still private, so it would be against forum rules and would also betray the author's trust if anybody posted a link.

Dear Graham ... thanks for the reply, it is private is because it is an option of the author, we will respect that .. maybe he decides to launch, so we will all have ... betray the trust is a very bad thing, because ... to conquer it takes a long time, but to lose just one second .... big hug .. best
