The file had and has been scanned with Norton antivirus and shows no threats. It is usually very reliable. If anything it is usually over-sensitive giving false positives

PS I downloaded the file (archive 2700plus.rar) and ran Malware bytes against the entire download folder again showing no threats

It was not designed to beat other books on playchess. For that purpose you need to play many games and tune book. This is especially true playing engine matches with tuned books
